As a community business, our first priority is to serve the public by providing you with the best deals available in energy efficiency. In order to do this we are always looking to create partnerships and join national schemes which are of benefit to the public.

At present, our funders for insulation subsidies and grants include:-

The Scottish Government

Scottish Hydro Electric

NPower

Powergen

and British Gas

Solas are also proud to be founding partners in a new and innovative project - LESS  A Local Energy Saving Scheme, backed by West Dunbartonshire and Inverclyde Councils for everyone in West Dunbartonshire and Inverclyde.

LESS will roll out over the coming months - we'll keep you informed.

At the end of this year, all homes in Scotland which are sold or let to a new tenant must have an Energy Performance Certificate. Solas are forming a partnership to provide a Scotland-wide service of the highest quality and best value.

These schemes and partnerships are there for your benefit - Why don't you look at them and see if there's something there for you?

LESS - making a difference

Since the start of the schemes, over 650 households in West Dunbartonshire and over 350 in Inverclyde have taken advantage of them.

The Scottish Government is launching a new Energy Assistance Package on 6 April 2009.
