2.  Cavity wall insulation is FREE to any householder over 70 and those on certain benefits. Loft insulation is FREE to anyone on qualifying benefits and any householder over 70 with less than 60mm ( just over 2 inches) of insulation currently in their loft. Note that householders who are not over 70 will qualify if their partner is over 70.
